Yann Maus and his colleagues have a pro-active expansion policy involving both acquisitions and organic growth, and have secured the support of a group of minority financial investors led by Crédit Mutuel Equity, alongside Irdi Soridec Gestion, to help with the group's development.
The Gozoki group's various companies sell specialist food products (chilled ready meals, seafood, delicatessen products, regional specialities etc.) directly to large-scale retailers and contract catering companies. The group has seen robust growth ever since it was created.
Gozoki has expanded its business with the creation of a new production site called Végécroc, based in the Agropole food business hub in Estillac. At that site, the group is planning to set up a plant to process fresh, high-quality and locally grown vegetables for use by its various companies. Végécroc will also develop new vegan recipes, single-portion ready meals and certified organic products.
"Since Gozoki was created, the three senior managers, supported by a solid team of experienced, loyal executives, have successfully focused on product innovation and expansion into new markets," explained Antoine Arlet, Principal at Crédit Mutuel Equity (formerly CM-CIC Investissement). "At the same time, the Gozoki group has also shown its expertise in integrating acquisitions aimed at diversifying its product range," added Marc Bres-Pintat, Principal at Irdi Soridec.
