With sales of more than €180 million in 2016 and over 1,700 staff members, Dupont Restauration is one of the leading independent family-led groups in the French contract catering market. By linking up with solid, long-term financial partners, Dupont Restauration management is confirming its aim of maintaining dynamic organic growth and strengthening its ability to seize new acquisition opportunities, as it has successfully done in the last few years. The transaction is subject to the approval of the French anti-trust Authorities and should be effective in October 2017.
Dupont Restauration was founded in 1969 and is based in Northern France. It offers a multi-service approach: on-site catering (managing over 380 restaurants), meal delivery (from eight central kitchens) and supplying ingredients to independently managed kitchens.
The group offers high-quality meals made by foodservice chefs, and focuses on product quality, close ties with customers and responsiveness. The company customers are diversified and composed of corporate, healthcare & senior, and education sectors.
Dupont Restauration has a strong presence in Northern France and the Paris region. In the future it aims at gradually expanding its footprint, particularly into Southeast and Western France, Belgium and the island of La Réunion, where it built a central kitchen in 2015.
